Se erogara agua por el cauce del Río Atuel durante sabado y domingo.

Tras una reunión mantenida este miércoles por la noche entre integrantes de la Cámara de Turismo, el EMETUR, Irrigación y la Dirección de Turismo de San Rafael, se logró arribar a un acuerdo que permita a los prestadores turísticos, contar agua en el Río Atuel al menos durante el fin de semana.

«Se logró que Irrigación accediera a dotar de una cuota de agua durante sábado y domingo en horario de 11 a 17 horas, lo que permitirá realizar actividades de agua, que es uno de los principales atractivos del Cañón del Atuel», señaló Gonzalo Tortosa, presidente de la Cámara de Turismo.

Frente a las intensas lluvias registradas, Irrigación había comunicado la decisión de cortar el agua por el río durante una semana, a fin de acumular agua en los embalses ante un año crítico en materia de escurrimiento debido a la escasa nieve acumulada.
