Entre ellas se encuentra Apple, que estaría preparando sus propias armas de la mano de iTunes y Beats Music, compañía comprada por los de Cupertino el año pasado.

El servicio de streaming de música de Apple podría ser presentado en los próximos meses y tendría como fortalezas su inmenso catalogo presente en la tienda de iTunes y la integración de funciones de Beats Music. Sin lugar a dudas podría convertirse en una verdadera pesadilla para Spotify, que actualmente lidera el segmento sin ningún tipo de amenaza seria.

El «Spotify de Apple» vendría integrada a la aplicación Música de los equipos iOs, con lo que se descarta hasta el momento que pueda estar presente en otras plataformas como Android o Windows Phone.

Además, la suscripción mensual del servicio de streaming de música de la manzana tendría un precio inferior al de Spotify, por lo menos en Estados Unidos, lo que podría llevar que muchos usuarios de iPhone (de momento) abandonaran Spotify.

De ser cierto los rumores, el servicio podría ser presentada en junio durante la conferencia para desarrolladores de Apple (WWDC).
